Powertrain

The Ford Bronco Sport Philippines carries two engine options, namely the turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost which is capable of producing up to 270 horsepower (201 kilowatts) and 310 lb-ft (420 Newton-meters) of torque.

Power from this engine is channeled to the drive wheels via a Getrag 7-speed manual transmission, complete with crawler gear.

Ford also provides a choice of 10-speed automatic transmission. Then there is other variant with a turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine capable of spewing power up to 310 hp (231 kW) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque.

Fuel Consumption

Most of the 2022 Ford Bronco is good for around 17 mpg for combined city/highway commuting. Some go as high as 20 mpg and the Raptor version only reaches a combined 15 mpg.

Conclusion

Even though it carries the classic concept of its predecessor, the embedded features have good progress and completeness. The price is indeed expensive, but can compete with other SUV models in terms of ability to drive on difficult terrain.
